The pursuit of perfection involves developing the mind and body to overcome oneself. The core of our curriculum teaches honor, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, respect, self-control, and the indomitable spirit.
We train our students to resolve conflict before it escalates. Teaching highly effective self-defense techniques is a potent tool against contention. We recognize peacemaking is not always possible and physical control becomes necessary.
Our goal is the success of our students – both in martial arts and in life. We treat each pupil as an individual. By combining a teaching style of intense physical training, individual focus and character development, The Dojo has helped hundreds of students (children and adults) in reaching their goals.

Suited for children 4 to 6 years old, our program uses fun activities and positive reinforcement to maximize your child’s potential.
Tailored to students between the ages of 6 and 12 years old, our curriculum focuses on several core principles. These include self-discipline, self-control, respect, confidence, concentration, and patience.
Not quite adults but no longer children, the teen strike program is for adolescents between 13 and 17 years old. In a critical time of their lives, these young people need specifically designed support. Our program meets them where there are and prepares them to enter their journey into adulthood.
We know work, life and school can be a challenge to balance. Our adult program prioritizes transparency and flexibility. Increase your physical fitness, reduce stress and create a new sense of focus and awareness at The Mineola Family Dojo.
Our martial arts program assists anyone and everyone, regardless of physical or mental condition. If you aren’t sure where to start, feel free to reach out to us with any questions you might have.
